Faculty Members Office

It is concerned with managing all matters related to faculty members andtaking the necessary measures to overcome the difficulties facing theirwork so that they can perform their educational and research tasks to thefullest extent. This office performs its tasks through the followingdepartments:

Functions of the National Faculty Members Office:

1- Manage the affairs of the national faculty members, overcome thedifficulties they encounter, and propose foundations and controls toimprove their performance and responsibilities.
2- Follow up on the scientific activities of the national faculty members,prepare reports on the studies and research they carry out, and completetheir evaluation procedures.
3- Organize the participation of national faculty members in seminars andconferences at home and abroad.
4- Take charge of hiring national faculty members in the work of teachingand training.
5- Prepare the staffing of faculty members.
6- Archive the files and documents related to faculty members whileopening sub-files for them in their faculties.
7- Undertake the contracting procedures with faculty members.
8- Calculate the annual bonuses and refer them to the Vice Rector.

Functions of the Non-National Faculty Members Office:

1 – Take charge of the non-national faculty members affairs and theircontracting procedures, assess their educational conditions, and preparethe necessary reports.
2 – Assist in taking the necessary procedures of reception,accommodation, and farewell to visiting professors and examinees tofacilitate their academic tasks.
3- Follow up on the academic activities of non-national faculty members,prepare a vision for and evaluate their studies and research.
4- Organize the participation of non-national faculty members inseminars and conferences at home and abroad.
5- Take charge of hiring non-national faculty members in the work ofteaching and training.
6 – Archive the main files of non-national part-time faculty members inthe work of teaching and training.

Functions of Faculty Members Housing Office:

1 – Provide faculty members with suitable housing to enable them tosettle in and create an appropriate environment for research andcreativity.
2 – Receive faculty members at university residence and enable them todwell according to the regulations set by the University Council.
3 – Supervise the university housing, follow up on maintenance, andinform the competent authority of any defect or malfunction to berepaired.
4 – Plan the necessary programs that would provide comfortable housingfor faculty members.
5 – Contact and coordinate with the competent authorities regardingobtaining land lots or housing for faculty members by the terms andconditions set by the University Council.
