Alasmarya Islamic University

Alasmarya Islamic University takes its name from Alshaikh Abdulsalam Alasmar, who is the establisher of one of the most important Islamic centres in Libya. The main campus of the university is located in Zliten, in the northwest of Libya. The university was founded in 1993, and has opened its doors to students in 1994.
