Promoting Research and Innovation Environment in the Libyan Higher Education System

يعتبر مشروع IBTIKAR أحد برامج ايراسموس Erasmus+  في مجال البحث العلمي ويهدف الى تطوير القدرات البحثية لمؤسسات التعليم العالي من خلال زيادة نتائج البحوث المشتركة عالية الجودة وزيادة كفاءتها ومهارة الموظفين والأكاديميين والاداريين في الجامعات الليبية الشريكة في المشروع .

وبما أن الجامعة الأسمرية الإسلامية هي إحدى الجامعات الليبية المشاركة في المشروع فإن مكتب التعاون الدولي بالجامعة يدعوا كافة المهتمين من بحاث وأعضاء هيئة التدريس والمعنيين بموضوع الدراسات البيئية لإنشاء مجموعات بحثية وتقديم مقترحات بحثية في هذا المجال وسيحصل الفريق الفائز والذي سيمثل الجامعة الأسمرية الإسلامية في المشروع على فرصة للتدريب الفني الخارجي في إحدى الجامعات الأوروبية الشريكة في المشروع بالإضافة إلى إمكانية توفير بعض المعدات اللازمة لتنفيذ المشروع البحثي .

على أن يحتوي المقترح :

( اسم المشروع البحثي ، المجال البيئي ، اسم رئيس الفريق ، أسماء أعضاء الفرق ، والسيرة الذاتية لكل منهم ، الكلية / الكليات المشاركة بالمشروع ، هدف المشروع ، أهمية المشروع ، طريقة العمل ، الأجهزة والمعدات والامكانيات المطلوبة لتنفيذه)

يقدم المقترح باللغتين العربية والإنجليزية .

سيتم استقبال وتقييم المقترحات البحثية المقدمة من قبل لجنة متابعة تنفيذ مشروع ابتكار من مركز البحوث والدراسات العلمية بالجامعة من حيث :

• إمكانية تنفيذ المشروع .
• أهمية المشروع .
• وجود بيانات المجموعة البحثية .
• توافق متطلبات التنفيذ للمشروع مع الدعم الممكن من إدارة مشروع ابتكار .

Alasmarya Islamic University – AIU ……. Locating  in Zliten City Center 160km East of the Capital City Tripoli- Libya.

First of all,  I’d like to thank all the presence including the UniMed delegation, Project Leaders and Project Partners  through  this online meeting  to participate this event.

It is obviously known that Libya has been suffering for decades of weakness in the field of education standards at all stages, as well as the State’s lack of interest in scientific research and funding, as most of the graduates have gone towards teaching rather than scientific research, and most of the researches are written because of  the lack of laboratories and other facilities (Infrastructure) in addition to low funding from the government, which led to brain drain abroad.

Indeed, we are very  happy when we heard that you will resume online conference for Libya Restart Project to support higher education and scientific research for Libyan universities, including Alasmarya University.

In this regard, we thank you for the invitation to participate in this virtual meeting. Alasmarya University will send their recommendations and needs for support as to the following points:

1- Support the university with laboratories related to scientific research in the field of medicine, engineering, communications science and energy.

2-  Support the university with IT equipment for giving lectures remotely.

3-  Connect the University Central Library to the international universities electronically to facilitate the process for searching, viewing, copying and others.

 4- Support the university’s language center with the equipment and communication tools needed to the language lab for its approval in conducting international exams.

 5- Support the Faculty of Information Technology with the advanced devices and equipment that the college needs.

 6- Support distinguished students, talents and innovators and develop their scientific, research and technical capabilities.

 7- Hold training courses for faculty members in languages, computers and Internet.

 8- Hold training courses for university employees to raise their efficiency and improve their work performance.
