Student Activities
University student activity is essential and parallel to the educational process, as it significantly influences both the student and the institution for the sake of promotion and perfect representation. University student activities represent an essential aspect of education because of their significant role in the formation and development of the student’s personality in various intellectual, social and spiritual aspects. These activities work to break down the barriers and traditional rapport between the teacher and students in the classroom through the various aspects in which the student participates in these activities.
The Spirit of Voluntary Work and Leadership
- Encourage the spirit of voluntary work and instill leadership among students through voluntary camps and trips.
Deepen the Students’ Understanding of Islam
- Deepen the students’ understanding of and commitment to Islam as a belief, thought and behaviour.
Students' Time Investment
- Invest students’ time in objective and valuable programs to reveal, refine and develop their talents and abilities to be active members of society.
Tighten the Teacher-Student Relations
- Tighten the Teacher-Student Relations to achieve a thorough students’ benefit.

Offer Opportunities
- Offer opportunities to the students to learn about certain administrative, social, economic, media and cultural areas that they may not have the chance to learn in classrooms.
Develop Spiritual and Moral Values, National Awareness and Leadership Training
- Develop students’ spiritual and moral values and national awareness. Also, train them in leadership and provide opportunities for responsible expression of their views.
Functions
Education at the University, in general, aims to develop all dimensions of students’ personality and all aspects of their abilities, preparedness and capabilities. In particular, education at AIU aims at:

1- Propose plans for students’ cultural and sport activities.
Schedules Preparation
2- Propose scheduling the implementation of approved plans taking into account academic timetables, examinations and holidays.
Form Distribution
3- Distribute survey forms to identify, nurture and encourage talents in various literary and cultural fields.
Participation in Organization
4- Participate in organizing cultural, literary and artistic events.
Participation in Exhibitions Organization
5- Participate in organizing exhibitions for talented students and faculty members in many different fields.
Participation in the Organization of Intellectual, Literary and Cultural Competitions
6- Participate in organizing and awarding intellectual, literary and cultural competitions in novels, short stories, poetry, essays, research papers, etc.
Participation in the Organization of Literary, Cultural and Artistic Events
7- Participate in organizing literary, cultural and artistic events.

8- Contribute to the revival of religious and national events by organizing literary, cultural and sport events.

Publishing and Distributing Outstanding Works
10- Propose publishing and distributing excellent works in competitions, events and art shows.
Form up Various Sport Teams
11- Form up teams in various sports and assign coaches to manage them to refine their skills. Also, provide the teams with the necessary sports clothing and equipment.
